This is my first ever attempt teaching pole dancing in Cantonese :D And of course it has to be on national TV?! God was it hard work....Hahhahaa.....God especially the interview! Yah well.... things we do for passion despite the possible public humiliation? :P

So this program was designed for women. Once again I was honored when the producer approached me to do a feature of my then newly opened Bobbi's Pole Studio Malaysia, to promote women fitness, sensuality, self-confidence and overall wellness, all through the art of pole dancing. Yes, pole dancing in Malaysia indeed exists.... as a matter of fact, this day my studio is therapy for alot of women. My students have built a necessary feel-good network and the studio is therefore an important social house that they all share. I love it! The power of Venus at work....

The Art of Seduction

Or at least one of them.

In the master chamber, there was a large bed with decorative posts up to the ceiling. Made of redwood, the bed had been carved with peonies, eggplants, tomatoes, bananas and cherries - which suggested male & female sexual organs. The curtains were washed white and perfumed. The side walls had built-in shelves displaying miniature sculptures. Most were Buddhist gods in the middle of coupling. The actions were cleverly depicted, the poses elegant - females mounting males in positions of meditation. The lovers' eyes were either half open or closed.
It's all about arousing the mind.

Ever heard of a FAN DANCE? Not your ordinary fan dance as we know it.... It's a form of Burlesque yes, but EROTICA.....oh yeah. A skill a woman could acquire to 'drown the man beneath you in pleasure'.... I'm quite sure:)

A stack of money is place on the floor/bed, then a small round pillow over it and finally, a dozen eggs on a bamboo tray on top! The woman then squats over the eggs like a hen. Her goal is to turn the stack of money underneath into the shape of a fan, by rocking her bottom. The rule is, that the eggs cannot be broken. Apparently an exercise to gain power and control of your body plus "it adds sensitivity to your bottom lips." Extraordinary theory!

Shall we practise that in class girls?! Hahahha

My Spectacular Spectacular Weekend In Perth

Let's see. We started off with some ROUGH SEX....
Or rather, foreplay. Yes indeed, we had rough sex as foreplay didn't we.

And then there was alot of giggling & laughing, VERY little sleep, a far bit of coffee...

....more goofing around in after-show deliriousness....
...some delicious midnight salads (yes, Felix makes salads and LOVES all the vegetables I hate; Kim's just a life-sized barbie domestic goddess so I'd just be happy to eat anything she makes and eats)

Oh and there was this one such wicked Mars bar-milk concoction that was introduced by Jedda (may as well be described as "Russian Roulette").... heh.... you know how it is - what's bad for you always tastes good. And there's the super powerhouse show that we all flew in for (5 poles, 20 acts, 60 performers - including Miss Pole Dance Australia 2010 ALLEGRA, 2-time World Pole Champion Felix Cane plus a rare performance by Bobbi herself and her costume was absolutely out-of-this-world amazing).

and this is the lovely Brooke, youngest sister of Bobbi & Kim who helps run Bobbi's Perth and had organized this spectacular Christmas Show! Some sisters are just lucky to have a sister like that:)

And seeing Jedda nail her most spectacular JEDDA move, her Russian Roulette routine was just spectacular.... so sexy, beautiful and just magic....watching her dance and remembering her practising back in KL just made me cry! Oh those shoes.... they're definitely worth all the trouble hey!

And so the Spectacular Spectacular Christmas Show was nothing less spectacular. I finally got to see all of Bobbi's Perth's gorgeous instructors perform and I can never get tired of watching Kim. Lush has the longest most stunning legs any woman would dream to have and she's such a beautiful dancer. Emma's solo routine was really pretty, just like her. They're such a great bunch of beautiful people.

Then after the spectacular show, there was the after-party at VooDoo. But SPECTACULAR continued - TA DA! Felix went full NUDE - yes...from seeing her pole with no shoes for the first time to seeing her butt naked ALL in one night, was this playground extreme? From remote goddess to honest-to-goodness blood,sweat and lipgloss sweetchild stripper Felix, I LOVE IT)



And then there were some zen moments with Kim on koi pond, stoned walls, paradise-home and such...with one most adorable pitbull-scoobydoo named Butch and a blind cat named "Blindy" in between all of that.

In between all of that - the sum of all my influences in a given moment. Everything was the highlight and I was definitely star-struck and so excited to finally be in the action! I've never really been surrounded by so many powerful women all at once but most defining was still to see everyone in their real self, their faces devoid of make-up, rehearsal clothes yet readily consumed by the process of performance.

Another one of Bobbi's ingenious craft. The talent of great stars who sustained was that they keep regenerating themselves, keeping others interested and that's why they're colossal.

I love that.... I've always loved the process of a performance.... and definitely would love some ROUGH SEX too!

Brunch in the sun... it's right therefore it rhymes....

....and that was the ONLY day I didn't need Felix's Uggs or Kim's winter-rejects :D

We Have Arrived!

Yes! In a FERRARI :D Bobbi's Pole Studio's first-ever show in Malaysia on Saturday March 13 at the KL Convention Centre.
The grand ballroom was beautifully decked out and Ferrari owners came together from all over the region to fill those hot seats in support of their club's 1st Royal Charity Gala. If there was one word to describe it, it'd be 'high-octane'.

Bobbi, Kim and I was the opening act. And we opened the night with Bobbi and Kim driven to their stages IN A FERRARI :D Now how cool is that....
And then we got a bidder who contributed RM15,000.00 to charity in exchange for a dinner party for ten at NEO and a pole performance by Bobbi's Pole Studio Australia. Great start of the journey for Bobbi's Pole Malaysia, great exposure, great entertainment for Ferrari's audience and super great fun for us!


What an incredible experience for me! Kim arrived a day before Bobbi and so we had one night and one full day to rehearse and jam together, before show day. I had such a blast with Kim. She's an amazing performer. A showstopper with an insanely ripped physique to die for. Her trait is this perpetual beautiful smile she wears, even when she speaks - if you haven't noticed already.. Something I should do more often aiy...? Kim's FOREVER camera-ready.
Bobbi had choreographed a beautiful flowy routine which we were to dance in sync. And I, could not have been more flattered to do it in Felix's costume!!!!!! You know, Felix Cane the World Pole Champ.... Gosh what a crazy crazy impossible act to follow!!!
Hahahah!! When I first put it on, my first reaction was 'Hey we're the same size!' I know I'm such a dork... Then fear set in. Ants in my knickers. I was so overwhelmed by the whole idea of dancing next to Bobbi and Kim, the anxiety would've been just as intense if it was Madonna.
Right away, I felt myself shrink 10 inches shorter and grew a 100% fatter. I was zonged out for the entire week working on my shit and then now nit-picking and beating myself up for not having perfected it enough.Most people don't get it. There're many pole dancers in the world who are dancing for that personal achievement, contrary to common belief, that we only dance for men. That's totally misunderstood...an absurd presumption and an awfully judgmental conclusion to draw. I personally would perform at any given chance, only because I wanna better my skills and gain more stage intelligence. All dancers need an outlet as do other forms of work. Be fair.

Caught in the act by Federico hehehee...damn it!....I see it now.... I see what you mean Bobbi. Gotta break that. For those who don't know Bobbi and Kim, I tell you, they're such troopers. They're such generous professional artistes who don't hold back their will to share. When they teach, they give you all.
What I love most is the nit-picking. To me, nit-picking is the utmost vital part of a learning process, one too important to dislike. Because in performance, everything is in the details - small things make a big difference. Not many teachers are observant enough (yes, that's a gift too) or even not bothered enough to nit-pick a student's flaws unless they really care. So thanks for zooming-in on my imperfections Bobbi. Trust me, I DO love it. It's what I do to myself anyway.
I'm so very blessed for this priceless opportunity to work with such an amazing bunch who in my eyes and the eyes of many many others who respect and revere them, is the best on the world.
I believe it's fate.... the law of attraction that Bobbi's Pole Studio Malaysia came together in the first place. The unstoppable fact that I'm now 'married' to Bobbi plus her entire powerhouse family :D It's fate.

It's gonna be a life-long journey... a pink one, stuck with the best :D This marks me being the official BOBBI'S GIRL and in a more serious tone, this marks the beginning of something greater than the dream itself. And I can't be happier. I'm at total peace.
